About the Brothers

When the house fire happened, Hayden was 9, Nolen 7, and Lincoln 4, living in Midlothian Texas. Although they lost many childhood memories and treasured belongings, the experience brought them even closer together.  For nearly 2 years the brothers lived in tight quarters while their home was rebuilt, creating a bond that would shape their lives forever.

While no lives were lost, the brothers quickly realized how deeply unexpected tragedies can affect families. Through it all, they learned that the most meaningful things in life are not possessions, but the people we love and memories we create together.

Over the past year and a half, the brothers spent countless hours drawing their adventures and turning their experiences into a mission to give back & inspire other kids. What first began as a joking idea about writing and illustrating a book soon became a meaningful way to share their story and inspire others.

Life is filled with challenges both big and small, but the Forbes Brothers hope their story reminds every child who reads their book that resilience, family, and hope matter far more than "stuff."

No matter what tragedy you may face, hold close to what matters most-
